About Karmen:

Dr. Karmen Smith, LCSW, DD, is a board-certified Clinical Social Worker in the state of Nevada. She has worked over 20 years for Clark County Family Services with abused and neglected children in the shelter, adolescents in juvenile detention, and adults who have suffered severe trauma. Dr. Smith is a shamanic teacher and minister of metaphysics and her doctorate is in Pastoral Counseling. Dr. Karmen has a young adult son who needed emotional support because of the police shootings in 2020. “We decided to take a road trip to the National Parks which encompassed several states. We handed out cards that said encouraging and loving quotes to random people we encountered.  Our mission was to spread love everywhere. The plaque on our car stated the truth that “ LOVE IS ALL THERE IS.” My son and I made loving memories and we protected our hearts from hate.” Dr. Karmen is a non-denominational pastor and bridges spiritual teachings with psychological concepts.

“We are living in a time where shamanism, spirituality and indigenous cultures can teach us a lot about mental health.  Knowing that we are powerful beings and created to be our authentic self can infuse us with self love energy.  This love frequency can offer protection when the world gets chaotic.”

— Karmen Smith
