About Meaghan:
Dr. Meaghan Rice, LPC, PsyD, is a Nationally Board Certified Counselor (NBCC) and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). She has spent over a decade in the field and specializes in relationships, focusing on that complex point in which people’s lives intersect. She helps to empower clients to find their inner strengths in order to help increase intimacy, depth, communication styles, conflict resolution skills, feelings of value and purpose, and confidence about setting boundaries. Outside of her professional role, she is a military spouse and a parent of littles, so she is able to bring her personal experience into her professional role.

Educational Information
Meaghan pursued psychology and political science throughout her undergraduate experience at the University of Denver in 2006. After being particularly intrigued by psychology, she pursued her masters and eventually a Doctor in Psychology (PsyD) from the University of Arizona, Global Campus in 2016. She obtained her Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in 2011 and has expanded her licensure to include 6 different states. She completed her Board Certified Telemental Health (BC-TMH) credential in order to practice telehealth. She also completed her Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), so she can supervise other clinicians in the field.
Experience
Meaghan has worked in a variety of different mental health settings. In the beginning of her career, in 2009, Meaghan specialized in behavioral assessments, interventions, and treatment planning with a correctional setting. She quickly moved into management/supervision experience with community mental health starting in 2014. She led teams of clinicians under a SAMHSA grant that brought services to youth and families in the local community. The military moved her out of the country where she then began her telemental health journey in 2017.
About Talkspace
Meaghan joined Talkspace as a clinician in 2017. She was quickly promoted to a trainer, a peer consultant, and a contributor to Talkspace’s council of mental health experts in the same year. Her content focuses on relationships and personal wellness and empowerment.
