Jill Daino, LCSW-R, BC-TMH, is a founding member of the Talkspace Council of Mental Health Experts. She has worked as a clinician in New York City for over 25 years in a variety of settings: hospital, not-for-profit organizations along with her private practice. Her dedication to the field of mental health and in particular to the values of social work have permeated her career with a deep understanding of her clients and the environment in which they have grown up and that they currently live within. A major focus of her work has been working with a range of clients with body image concerns, disordered eating and eating disorders, grief, along with young adulthood life transitions. Her work has been featured in USA Today, Southern Living, Teen Vogue, Pure Wow and Well + Good.
“Being in therapy is an opportunity for each person to have a safe space to be heard and understood – to have a space to figure out what works and what doesn’t in their life while at the same time hopefully gaining skills and support to reach their goals. It is a privilege for me to be part of my client’s journey as therapy is a collaborative, creative process.”
