About Olga:

Dr. Olga Molina, D.S.W., LCSW, is a member of the Council of Mental Health Experts. Dr. Molina’s passions in mental health are in the areas of community mental health practice and working with clients who are coping with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). In addition to these mental health concerns, Olga is passionate about working with individuals and families who are divorcing, in intimate partner violent relationships (IPV), and in dealing with work-related stress. She is a culturally responsive mental health therapist who works with a diverse population of clients with diverse presenting problems.

Educational Information

Dr. Molina received her master’s degree in clinical social work from New York University and her doctorate in social work (clinical, research, teaching) from the City University of New York Hunter College.

Experience

Dr. Molina has 40 years experience as a licensed clinical social worker. She has worked with individuals, families, and groups in several settings including outpatient mental health, partial hospitalization programs, adolescent centers, family mental health agencies, a joint legal/social work program in a large labor union, and in private practice all in New York City. Dr. Molina has been a professor of social work for over 20 years. She is currently an associate professor at the University of Central Florida where she has been teaching clinical social work courses and culturally competent social work practice since 2006.
